About

Spartacus was a gladiator from Thrace (which now forms part of Greece, Bulgaria, and Turkey) who was sold into slavery and became a famous gladiator in ancient Rome. However, he was not happy with the way in which the Romans captured and treated their slaves and so, in 73 BC he escaped his captors and led one hundred thousand slaves in a revolt against the Roman general, Crassus, and his army.

In Spartacus – Gladiator of Rome – our hero is depicted as a muscle-bound warrior in a plumed helmet, bearing a sword and shield. He’s joined by other gladiators, lions, armour, and weapons on the reels where he can often appear full-height for added winning potential. The Colossal Reels make the gameplay even more exciting, and when the wild symbol lands fully stacked on the smaller set of reels in the bonus game, it’s transferred across to the corresponding reel on the Colossal Reels, allowing you to create extra wins.
